You remember the first time Spiderman’s spidey sense kicked in? He was a little overwhelmed at first, but with time he came to understand his gift. Well that’s how I felt when I first used my Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 headset. At first I was overwhelmed, but I was hooked after a few games. I’m not going to say Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 is the best headset, but you can’t beat the price tag of $59.95.

Chat and in game audio
USB powered from the Xbox 360
Inline amplifier, mute. and volume control
Separate controls for game and chat volumes
16 feet of cable
Also works with PC games . (Also will work with Itunes on Macs)

CONS
Tons of wires
Background static when the volume is turned up
Background static when sending outgoing messages
Personally I’m not crazy about the overall appearance of the product
